atmosphere and hospitality in a small restaurant

Le Scuderie Ristorante is located in a historic building in the center of the city of Cremona; the restaurant was housed in an ancient stall for carriage horses, made of arches and vaults supported by granite columns and divided into three naves paved in terracotta and stone, a unique mix of historical and modern.

The menu is a journey that changes with the passing of the year, new paths and emotions of taste marks the seasons ensuring the use of the highest quality products from the territory and the Mediterranean basin.
The cellar boasts 300 labels for all types of palates, a particular eye goes to sparkling wines and champagnes from small producers …
During the summer, 5 tables are hosted in the portico of the internal courtyard overlooking the garden of the Schinchinelli Martini palace.
Particular attention was paid to improving the supply of light inside the room, originally scarce and poorly exploited. With a view to improving the quality of the interior spaces, a system of curtains / sails has been designed in the central nave: they also act as interior decorations and also allow better diffusion of sounds and natural light inside the room. As a request from the client, a plasterboard structure was created that includes the bar, the cash desk and a spiral staircase that allows access to the owner’s office which is raised above the restaurant room.
